Who we are
AVIS.Land - the website avis.land and the AVIS.Land apps for iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows - is operated by: [company name, address and email for privacy requests].
What we collect
- Your account: your email address, name, phone number, address, the business description you give, your password (kept only as a secure hash) and the second sign-in step you choose. Face ID and fingerprint stay on your device; we only keep a passkey that cannot be used anywhere else.
- Your content: the emails, messages, letters, contacts, documents, pictures, stickers and files you keep or send with AVIS.Land.
- Video calls: the camera and microphone are used only during a call you start or join. Calls are not recorded.
- Your devices: the devices you sign in on (their name and last sign-in), so that a device you know stays signed in; and, where you allow alerts, the address your browser gives us to alert that device of new messages.
- Contacts on your device: only when you choose to synchronise them, and only to fill your Contact Incubator.
- AVISPay: the documents and checks you submit to verify your identity.
- Technical data: IP address and browser information in our server logs, to keep the service secure.
Why we use it
To provide your account, your mailbox, your messages, calls and the other services you use; to keep accounts secure; and where the law requires it. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and the app contains no third-party tracking.
Who processes it for us
- Microsoft: hosting and storage (Azure), and Microsoft 365 for the mailboxes kept there.
- OpenAI: the A.V.I.S assistant, when you ask it to write or read something for you.
- Replicate: picture tools such as 3D stickers, when you use them.
- Google: contact synchronisation, only when you connect it.
- Stripe: payments in the shops, when you pay.
- Your browser's push service (Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft): it delivers the alerts you allowed, encrypted so that only your device can read them.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. When you delete your account, its data is deleted with it. Records the law requires us to keep, such as bank bookings, are kept for as long as the law sets.
Deleting your account
In the app: Sign-in and security - Delete my account. Your sign-in, your @avis.earth mailbox and all its mail, your contacts, documents, pictures, stickers, messages and devices are deleted. A mailbox your organisation provides is deleted by its administrator.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, restrict or object to its use, and take it with you. Write to the operator named above. You may also complain to a data protection authority.
Changes
We update this page when what we do with data changes.
